Did you know...??

Steam Society is going to be at SakuraCon 2009 in Seattle! You can come meet me in person from April 10th through 12th at the Washington State Convention Center. I'm vending with my often-mentioned fellow designer friend Naomi as well as Claire and the infamous and shadowy manga artist Loch. Look for me at the 20x10 Tea Time Inc booth in the dealers room. We'll be stocked full with steampunkery, gothic lolita tomfoolery, cosplay madness and a heaping dose of hedonism, all availible for immediate purchase and consumption. YES!

Favorite New Item Of Wednesday - Flying Time Steampunk Pendant

I'm about to take some pictures of some new awesome stuff, so I might have to update again today, but her is my current favorite new item. It's actually already been sold, but I have a collection of similar items up for sale. I rarely wear any jewelry myself, but I liked this necklace so much I wore it as a part of my outfit for the Carl Cox party.

Devin+Naomi See PENDULUM LIVE

So, while Naomi was visiting me in San Francisco, we got to see our mutually favoritest musical group Pendulum live and from like, 5 feet away from the stage. Think over-the-top mega-produced drum and bass new-school jungle crazy Australian rock band. Oh, my god, just hearing Hold Your Color done in that insane acoustic version was enough to make me jump up and down for hours screaming like a crazy fan girl.

Anyways, here we are getting ready and still not quite believing that it was really happening. Oh, and I don't think Claire ever reads these things I write, but if she does, Hi Claire, we wish you could have been there!
